Small Colorful Apartment by Anna Marinenko

Small colorful apartment designed by Anna Marinenko. Beautiful combination of red and chartreuse color. The idea is to make a colorful and bright interior, but do not overdo it with colors, and do not get in the end white interior with small spots of color, although it is also very nice, but too simple. I hope I was able to find a middle ground.

Charming Two Level Apartment Interior Design

It’s not only about furniture selection, wall paint or room’s size to make an apartment as a home. We need to combine style and taste in order to create a cozy dwelling, just like the below sample.  Decorated in Scandinavian style, the apartment is very stylish, spacious and bright. Measuring about 92 square meters with 3, 5 rooms; the modern apartment features tall windows with high ceiling of 3, 15 meters.

The master bedroom is situated in the lower level and is complemented with high bed, cozy reading chair, white rug, two trendy lamps and tall mirror.

A small studio for painting and storing art collection is in the same floor with the bedroom.
Though the lower level is decorated with exposed red brick and wood ceiling but it could provide a charming ambience instead of rustic.

Modern staircase will lead you up to the upper level, where you can find a comfortable living room with white sofa and funny dog wall sticker.

A wall mounted TV is added to this area in order to let the owner enjoy watching favorite TV program or movies while hanging with some friends.

The front foyer becomes the only area that is covered by tiles – and the bathroom of course.

A small study room is situated near the living room and looks quite comfortable with simple desk and chair.

This two-level apartment has a renovated kitchen that can be reached via stairs from the master bedroom below.

The kitchen is also finished in white colors and is equipped with all the amenities that you’ll need. Complemented with lots of storage, the kitchen can keep all utensils or tools for cooking and cook books also.

A simple dining room with black chairs and rounded white table is located right next to the kitchen.

And the shower room plays role as a laundry room too in order to help more space. This solution is ideal to be implemented in urban home or small apartment. So, creating a calm, minimalist and cozy apartment is not that difficult right? We hope it will inspire you.

White Apartment, Black Accents

Found on UK site Light Locations (a resource for photo industry professionals seeking good backdrops), this black-and-white apartment struck us as a slightly different take on a classic look. We love the wall of windows, thinly outlined in black, as well as the black artwork, cushions, throws, and accent pieces. With a blank white background and slim black molding, this apartment has the feeling of a crisp line drawing…

The rhythm of short, straight lines moves from the windows, to the storage pieces along the wall, to the dining chairs, to the artwork. Although simple, the design scheme in this loft space seems very carefully considered. For more photos of this apartment, as well as many more inspiring interiors, visit Light Locations.

A small cosy apartment

I want to share this lovely apartment in Sweden with you, as I think it shows how easily you can create a lovely and functional space even in a small place. The mix between the old and rustic works perfectly against the modern couch and the black and white posters – it makes it all more interesting.

Knitted throws gives an immediately cosy feeling and makes you want to crawl up in bed or the sofa with a warm cup of tea and some magazines. That´s what autumn is all about isn´t it? Cosiness.
